Myers-Briggs Personality Test and Affirmations Blog

So I knew that this test would be somewhat accurate, but I had no clue it would be THIS accurate.
It was nearly spot-on to everything about my personality. Kudos to them for being borderline creepy.

After reading the "You: Self-Awareness and Personal Growth" section I came to a very similar conclusion: borderline creepy.
My personal favorite similarities:
  • "INFPs never seem to lose their sense of wonder."
  • "INFPs have the ability to see good in almost anyone or anything. Even for the most unlovable the INFP is wont to have pity."
  • "Their extreme depth of feeling is often hidden, even from themselves, until circumstances evoke an impassioned response."
  • "INTPs tend to have a sense of failed competence, INFPs struggle with the issue of their own ethical perfection."
All of these are basically like someone decided to write a short bit about me and my personality only switching out my name for "INFP". They were all things that I think I already knew conceptually, but I had never really said out loud or been told before.

Really the only thing that wasn't extremely accurate was:
  • "INFP children often exhibit this in a 'Calvin and Hobbes' fashion, switching from reality to fantasy and back again. With few exceptions, it is the NF child who readily develops imaginary playmates"
I never had a imaginary friend as a child, so I guess I would fall into the category of "few exceptions."
Other than that, everything in this personality description was dead-on.

Affirmations:
This affirmation was probably one of the nicest things I have ever read about myself:
"
  1. Mature
  2. Responsible
  3. Compassionate
  4. Trustworthy
  5. Confident
There is so much potential in Claire that I find it hard to condense into a short paragraph. Claire is intelligent, responsible, and organized. Her maturity is balanced with a good sense of humor and a compassion that is apparent in her willingness to serve and uplift others. She is definitely confident, but is also introspective and willing to examine herself in order to learn and grow. I have found her to be one of the most trustworthy and dependable students I have ever taught, and worthy of the greatest compliment I am capable of giving another human being: 'I would trust her to take care of my children'".

Yeah, to me this was pretty darn touching.

Tests are fun!
